Driftwood letters

You would think, with the hundreds of thousands of pieces of driftwood that you can find on the beach, it wouldn't be too hard to find "letters".  If you want an i or l, you're in luck, but try to find the letters f, d, b, s, h, or c.  I'm talking one piece of driftwood for each letter, not piecing them together with a bunch of straight sticks.  A friend of mine, a famous Forks beachcomber, has written his sons names in large driftwood pieces he gathered over the years and placed them on his wall, so I know it can be done.  I've been searching, very sporadically, for about a year now, to find "Life is better at the beach".  Time to get back at it.
